Photographer Ed Clews of this parish (this would be me typing this) is featured in three new exhibitions over the coming months. Admittedly it’s very North Yorkshire / Lincolnshire centric but get here if you can.

Ryedale Film and Photo Fest – June 20th to August 2026
First up is the Ryedale Film and Photo Festival in Malton, North Yorkshire. I have three sets of photos running, two of which are from the “Right Here, Right Now. It’s Historical, Big, Huge and Beautiful” project.

Part of the festival involves prints from many photographers dotted around town in shop windows – one of my images is in a set of three in Beecham Weigh which you can find on the left hand side of the street as you walk out from the train station leading up into town.
The second and third images are in the main Parish Project venue on Spital Street. One part is the York Photographers section featuring photos from members. The second part you can see if you turn your head slightly to the right, you’ll see another display by Over The Bridge featuring a summer holiday themed mini exhibition.

This festival is organised by Rachel Rimell who many of us met while at Falmouth during the MA course. Dawn Rodgers from the course is also featured in the exhibition.

Greetings from Scunthorpe – 2nd of July to 31st of August 2026
Over The Bridge are on their holidays so they’re having a summer holiday themed exhibition of postcard sized prints in the windows of Fountain Arts in Scunthorpe. I have got a jellyfish photo in it and maybe some others (I’ve not seen it at the time of writing).

Brunswick Organic Nursery Food Festival – 1st August 2026
Finally, I will have a mini exhibition of some of the photo work I’ve been taking at Brunswick Organic Nursery for the last few years as part of the annual food festival. This will include more recent work from my long-term Right Here, Right Now… project.
